No reason for Capra or Palacios to play another game with the big league team. Wasted ABs taking away from Teel/Quero with Palacios. Baldwin should be up tomorrow.    Slater may have played the

Very surprised by Taylor's inability to get any swings and misses

Why am I irrationally irate that palacios is getting at bats ?

First time Taylor generates a swing and a miss as a big leaguer. Needed it too.

Taylor's heater has so little armside movement that the shape is almost like a bad cutter. I have a feeling it isn't always like that. When Dylan Cease first came up to the big leagues, his fastball was doing that and it made his fastball not play very well until he figured it out. On the bright side, the shape of Taylor's slider is incredible. He might want to consider a slider-heavy attack if he's able to get it over for a strike.

98.9 velocity down a notch or two from his debut...that's going to be a key in his "bounceback-ability"

Good start Tauch! Don't stop now boys!

Pretty much have to trade Tauchman if they can get ANYTHING decent for him in return...

Hopefully just him dialing it back a bit after a very high-energy debut

Did we really let capra bat

Swing at ball.  Take strike.  Make out.

Teel the only one left...that wouldn't be a great experience for a rookie, facing Hader from the LH side.

Still, he could accidentally run into a homer, Tauchman tagged him.

Tauchman…off a lefty.

Whats their record in 1-run games?

Incredible game by Vargas.

Back up to .755 OPS.

SO close, Vargas

letting slater bat here should be grounds for dismissal

Wow.

Terrible.

Lipman probably will update it after the game.    Something like 4 or 5 and 15.

Vargas is a dude. Good thing Soxtalk doesn't run the Sox

Shout out to Vargas. You’re the only one who showed up on either of my fantasy teams today.

Didn't even swing the bat.

Venable letting Slater bat when hes 0 for 4 with 4 Ks, With the game on the line.  f*** off with this clubhouse energy bullshit

edit: 0 for 5, 5 Ks, go away you suck dude

Slater is awful

Take a breath guys.  Vargas hit tonight.  He's a liability in the field.  Let him DH.
