Crazy that only Scherzer has tied the 20 K record of Kerry Wood in the last 27 years...but this high velo age isn't conducive to pitch counts in the 120's and 130's for a single game.

More likely going to be a softer tossing pitcher or knuckleballer or something zany like that in the future.

Great plate coverage taking practice swings before the actual pitch is thrown.

 

 

Meidroth is going to have to start driving more balls to the gaps unless he wants the corner outfielders to keep crowding him...that's ONE way to do it, two tough luck outs tonight for Chase.
