  • No one does.  The losing and mediocre development isn’t a coincidence

I don’t know how I would feel about McKnight as the full time PBP guy, but he clearly knows the game and his audience a lot better than Schriffen.

  • I loved the part where he talked about a GMs job is finding role players and that everyone can identify stars. The Sox have 0 stars on this team. Their system is trending towards producing bulk regula

This should be your infield going forward, but put Chase at 2nd, Colson at SS, and Sosa at 3rd.

For the four young guys the Sox have promoted to the majors this year, they have 3 homers in 528 at bats.

That is horrifying.   That's 20s baseball.  1920's, not 2020's.

Colson having a hard time squaring anything up. Lots of offspeed pitches this series.

He is way better at this than he is talking radio. I honestly was pretty biased against him, but totally switched my opinion after listening to him.

Wonder if our stupid manager knew Civale gets destroyed 3rd time around?

The pen is fried.

Walks love finding their way around

Horrendous first pitch non-strike call on Jones might have changed that entire inning.

I want to hear McKnight and Plesac. I think they'd play off each other well. But quite frankly just not hearing Schriffen is refreshing.

Pleasac is really good.  I even low key am a  Beckham fan.  Kind of a more relaxed Hawk vibe.

Taylor needs to find a way to use his fastball more effectively.

Opposing pitchers not afraid to throw strikes to Sox hitters

Not really fair to McKnight given his inexperience, but I don't think he's been good as PBP or sideline guy. Very much feels like a second teamer.

How was that not a triple.

Slider and he gawn

No IQ at home plate from Sox hitters

Wow lol

There's my franchise centerfielder

Nice comeback against elite reliever

Robert!

Vargas late

That was a TERRIBLE play by Kwan

He’s so bad

If they add a rule that

1. every field has a catwalk above the infield/outfield

2. you automatically win if the ball hits the catwalk

Vargas would be the most valuable asset in the league

The guards have only scored 16 more runs than the sox. Their offense is horrendous. The Sox have benefited from facing the Royals and guards 14 times so far on the season. Add the Rockies and 18% of their games this half have been vs 3 of the bottom 4 offenses in baseball.
