July 20, 2025Jul 20 My suspicion is that once he gets up near full speed he will have to shut back down due to pain or poor recovery. Just my hunch; many guys successfully rehab through these things (at least for a while) but I took his loss of velocity this season as a dark sign when coupled with the pain showing up later.

July 30, 2025Jul 30 If Perez is okay and can go and be decent, that is a big step toward us Sox fans never having to see Clevenger or Thor this season. So . . . let's go Martin!! With that said, I would be very intrigued and in favor of the Sox resigning Fedde. Has anyone heard anything about him lately? What his status is?

Braves traded for him (they need bodies at this point) with Cardinals paying basically remainder of salary. Flexen is another who just got DFA'd who helped soak up some innings last year. He gave up 2 earned runs in May and June then 13 in July alone, in half the innings. I think he'll land somewhere, he can definitely 'eat innings'. For some reason a baseball team is paying Kyle Freeland 16 million dollars to be Chris Flexen, so why not pay Chris Flexen $750k to be himself?
