Only one to blame here is Sosa himself. If a geezer like me sitting on a sofa knows the rules he has to. I’m not a fan of public humiliation but I’d have yanked him right there. Wondering if the Cubs let that drop on purpose to see if they could find a dope?  But I love the way he goes back on a pop fly and the RF’s know it and defer to him.
Sit him down next game.

I didn't see the ump's hand go up until the ball hit the ground, which was ludicrous. The ump should have called the IFR with the ball in the air. Dude was trying to keep out of a double play due to umpire error. If he made it to 3rd safely, we'd all be talking about the heads up baserunning.

You must’ve missed it. The umpire’s hand was up in plenty of time IIRC.

It’s so bad now. Even when attendance is awful, it’s as if Jerry takes no pride in the fan experience.

Dodger Stadium parking is just bad if not worse considering home games are always sold out. Everything crammed into a ravine.

The fan experience is better when you have some of the best teams and players in MLB.

Lenyn Sosa was signed by the White Sox on July 2nd, 2016, and has known no other organization but the White Sox since he was 16 years old.

How the f*** do you make it 9 years and still not know the infield fly rule as a professional athlete?  What the f*** are these kids being taught?

Good question.

Fundamentals are an unknown word around the franchise.

Focus on guys who actually graduated from a school somewhere.

From Paul Sullivan's column Sunday night:

Worst baserunning. Lenyn Sosa, take a bow. Sosa was thrown out at third Sunday after Cubs second baseman Nico Hoerner baited him by letting an infield fly rule popup drop. Instead of staying put, Sosa gets nailed at third, squelching a potential rally. “Not a real good baserunning play by Sosa,” CHSN’s Steve Stone says in obvious disgust. “A little bit of a mental error there where he didn’t see the call being made,” Venable said, adding “we have to look ourselves in the mirror and figure out a better way to coach that.” Sosa might also need to look in a mirror.
