Well, they’ve done it.  They’ve become interesting enough for me to give Uncle Jerry $20 to watch them for the rest of this month.   It’s actually kind of nice to want to watch the Sox play again.  Maybe attending a game will be next!  🤯

I assume Quero is catching the day game tomorrow so don’t mind it too much. 

 

Lineups are so much better under Getz / Venable this year.  Always hated the “fast guy must bat at the top of the longer” approach even when they sucked at getting on base.  And it felt like bad vets always batted higher than they should.  Actually kind of excited to see Lenyn in the two hole.  Should good get some good pitches to hit and he can do damage with those as good as anyone in the lineup.

Vargas was scratched, Julks inserted into the lineup in LF, Baldwin moved from LF to 3B, Rojas moved from 3B to 2B, and Sosa moved from 2B to 1B.
