Bring back Madrigal next season if you want an easy replacement for Rojas. He can play the same positions and won’t get $3.5 million. He will also OPS above .504. 🤮 What was Getz even thinking with this Rojas signing? He was a splurge bench signing for a contender, not a signing a non-contending team should ever be making with numerous younger players/prospects that could play the same positions already. mac9001 Posted August 9 Share Posted August 9 I've always been stumped how a 6'6" dude only gets 6'2" extension (24th percentile). He has velocity but doesn't use his huge frame to deliver the ball. Would have assumed they would have worked with him to get some additional extension. It's probably the main reason his fastball gets crushed.
