Benintendi has the noodliest arm. How did this guy win a GG

He was with Boston with the short left field wall. He played it well. He was younger then, probably 2 steps quicker. Didn't take a big arm in Fenway.

I sure hope we've got scouts every damn where.  Independent leagues, Mexican leagues, Latin America, Asia.....I mean, just identify people to take a flyer on, sign em cheap, and give em a shot.  We've literally nothing to lose at this point.  Maybe get lucky and find a diamond in the rough.  Our system has zero answers.

That's what they do.  It's called dumpster dive

It could be the whole Sox organization is overrated when it comes t pitching.

Not sure what they see in Katz.  Pitchers promoted to Charlotte start to suck.

It’s extremely overrated.  They desperately need to find a way to get the two big lefty prospects fixed.

Keep them out of Charlotte.  Coincidence that Vaughn and Montgomery got better?

Was checking on score on gameday...how the hell do you get a foul out double play 3rd to Catcher with the bases loaded? I'm confused.

great question. if you watched it, you wouldn't have a better idea.

Saw that happen in Milwaukee early in the 1990 season.

Ventura caught a foul pop down the third base line, had his back turned towards home and the runner broke for the plate. Robin fired a one hop strike, Fisk blocked the play...bingo. Double play.
