6-9 gets it done to avoid 100 losses. Nice.

Lots of games against good teams though. Some of them may have playoff implications.

6 - 9 to avoid 100

What is that, 4 series wins in a row?

3. They've won 8 of 16 series since the ASB.

Hoping they play well with spoiler potential

Spoiling Cleveland's playoff hopes would be the highlight of the season for me. Yankees at their ballpark is gonna be the toughest series left.

I totally forgot about the Yankees series. This streak started during the last game of that series.

Quite remarkable. Trending towards that B- for Chris.

If they can win 4 of the next 6 then they got a tough stretch against the friars and Yankees and close out against the nats

Padres are still playing for the NL West. Although I'm not sure if they still will be in a few weeks.

Yankees might be setting playoff rotation at that point and not really have anything to play for in regular season, we'll see.

How is Ozzie's accent getting heavier?

Could've split that series if that ball Sosa hit in the 10th was like an inch closer.

All the Sox do is win. I think it's obvious the team will contend next season as .500 is good enough to contend in our division. Our manager must be good to get this much out of our no-name pitching staff. The hitting has been remarkable the second half. Sox must have a good hitting coach, too. How many were really in the park today, 1,000 even? They called it 11,000.

That'll be a great series to finish things off at home. Darvish, King, Pivetta are the projected starters as it stands. Can definitely tee off on Darvish. Might take the series!

Darvish has a 7.86 ERA on the road this season 🫢

Winner winner another series win . Not going to get any easier. Lots of good teams to finish the season.

This has been just a legitimately good stretch of baseball. The Sox deserve their flowers, I was worried when we had the losing streak it was going to fall apart. But THAT was the blip, not the winning!

Great second half, great job to our young hitters and good job to Venable for figuring out how to make pitching staff work enough game to game.

How do we say goodbye to a team worth two series wins?

Nice work.
Next up, end the Guardian's hopes of playoffs.

Wow sucks for those teams to run into the Sox then.

Venable MoY?

lol

Probably goes to Schneider or Hinch or Cora...Wilson or Bochy depending on who gets the WC.

Have gone from 13.5 to 7.5 games behind the Twins in the past ten games...

def didn't seem drunk, and I should know, I think he's just managed to maintain a heavy south central american accent going on 40 years despite living in Chee-ca-go.
