Great game so far...except for those who enjoy run scoring.

  • I see people on Reddit shitting on the Sox for this trade and some Sox fans regretting it. Hell no lol. Vaughn was never going to amount to s%*# on the Sox. Having him sink the Cubs was probably the b

Man i haven't stopped smiling the past 5 minutes. So happy for Vaughn to play on a real roster, and doubly happy for him fucking up the Cubs

Skubal at 85 pitches. Think he probably goes another 2 innings at least.

Hope Baez postseason success doesn't also apply to Cubs tmrw.

LMFAOOO Manager fucking blew it by over managing, hahahahaha

That was just as bad as Cash pulling Snell in 2020

All erased with one swing...

No way I'm watching any Tigers Blue Jays games... f that.

Kirby was dominating everyone, Baez got lucky with that first pitch swinging at a fastball, I cannot believe they pulled Kirby there

You knew that was going to happen.

Imagine what a game like this would be back when the NL didn't have the DH.

It's questionable even if Spier got out of it. I don't think anyone would have blamed him if he didn't pull Kirby and he allowed a homer to Carpenter.

Rooting for Dodgers to sweep the Cubs and then sacrificial AL team and the national media to then lose their minds...

They have to come up with a more workable model short of salary caps and spending floors.

Will believe it's actually halfway fair when Murakami signs anywhere other than LAD.

This is why Ray was insistently arguing the last two months about the true value of a unicorn like Skubal Crochet Skenes here.

Just doesn't lose four times in one season against the same team...even on the road in the most hostile environment you can get in baseball.

What's Skubal's deal after next season???

$500-650 million???

1. Gerrit Cole, $324 million

In December of 2019, Gerrit Cole signed with the New York Yankees for nine years, and $324 million. Since signing the deal, he has gone 51-23 with a 3.08 ERA, and 816 strikeouts.

2. Stephen Strasburg, $245 million

After the 2019 World Series, the Washington Nationals signed Strasburg to a seven-year contract, worth $245 million. Since signing the deal, the former No. 1 overall pick has appeared in just eight games, going 1-4.

3. David Price, $217 million

Yamamoto $300 million.

Part of Ohtani's deal going to the pitching side, obviously.

Hard to believe they took him out at 99 pitches. He must have emptied the tank to get the top of the lineup out in the 6th.

Also surprising never more than 107 pitches and usually below 100.

Max effort guy.

Burned Canzone too.

Wow wow wow.

Great game.

Edited by caulfield12

two ex Padres coming here   Brash and Munoz, dumb dumb trade/s

Brash for forgettable Taylor Williams

PADRES-MARINERS TRADE
Padres get: C Austin Nola, RHP Dan Altavilla, RHP Austin Adams

Mariners get: INF Ty France, OF Taylor Trammell, RHP Andres Muñoz, C Luis Torrens

Over thinking...

Have to challenge Torres and make him beat you.

Fortunate.

Greene too anxious and got himself out.

Unbelievable that JP Crawford didn't bunt there...

that s%*# was crazy lol, I thought the Mariners had that in the bag

Top of Tigers' lineup back up...Mariners going to look back on that inning with regret if they don't make it

When every team has 3-4 100 mph relievers anything is possible in extras
