caulfield12
What the hell are the baserunners supposed to do there when it wasn't even clear if it was a catch or not? Crazy play.

caulfield12
Looks like Treinen might have restored some of Roberts' lost confidence in him...LA pretty lucky it ended up a ground rule double on the Bauers ball over Pages.

How much do those cost?

Someone told me if you wanted to go to a Dodger game during the season expect to pay at least $150. Their ST tickets are expensive as well. Those seats aren’t even listed as available, but based on the surrounding prices, not cheap at all
caulfield12
Well the Brewers had a miracle play and late chances against Treinen/Sasaki but still didn't win...and.Peralta didn't pitch that well last time out, either. (Words I never thought I’d say) Big Dumper (a nickname derived from the man’s large ass) + A butt plug with his number on it. Kinda hard to read as anything but plugging the big dumper or something to that effect. Dude lives in infamy now though!

caulfield12
Ohtani on a 1/23 run since two homers in G1 of the WC series against Cincy. Dodgers still in driver's seat. DP keeps the Brewers in this...maybe the end of Peralta as Ashby would get F.Freeman in the 6th. Edited October 15 by caulfield12
caulfield12
Gambled going with Peralta against LHB... The Los Angeles Dodgers agreed to terms with infielder Max Muncy on a two-year contract through the 2025 season for $24 million. The deal includes a $10 million club option for 2026. caulfield12
Former Charlotte Knights' pitcher Tobias Meyers in for MIL...having to go two innings here and they still might not be able to use Uribe and Ashby for G3. Not going well. 50/50 Jose Quintana has to start G3 in LA with Priester and Patrick taxed this week. Now the Dodgers can pull Yamamoto...either Glasnow/Ohtani for G3. Silent as a pin drop. If you don't get G3...most teams have a tendency to give up, especially playing on the road. Milwaukee doesn't have quit in them, but they're simply facing superior pitching with bullpen games in 2/3 to start a series. Ohtani 2/25 (.080) slide continues as he faces mostly lhp...ofc that RBI single extended the lead. Yankees couldn't win with Judge putting up a similar postseason stretch. nrockway
Dodgers are a titan. Their starting pitching is healthy and simply too good. This Brewers offense is none too good to boot. I think the only way the Dodgers don't win the World Series is if the Blue Jays pull it out and their bats catch on fire. It could happen. Seattle and Milwaukee's pedestrian bats aren't getting the job done. I don't think the Jays are a better team that Seattle or the Dodgers, but they can get hot in an instant.
