Fair. I’d like Benintendi off the team entirely but I’m not expecting that to happen until 2027 if at all. I’d just like more power and for all of Garcia’s flaws, at least he hits homers.

I think if they sign O’Hearn (rather just play the guys we have here honestly) they might as well add Garcia. But none of it really matters if they don’t add a couple legit starters.

I just don’t think any of our guys are 1B materiel.  To me, Vargas is 3B or bust at this point even if he improves on his post April wRC+ of 108 and gets to say 115.  Sosa at 2B with a 110 wRC+ is a useful player, but would be a fairly mediocre 1B IMO.  To me, there is no obvious long-term solution in the org and I like the idea of a veteran bat who can help anchor the middle of the lineup and take some pressure off the kids.  Obviously this is all conditional on being able to get O’Hearn on a two year deal at reasonable dollars.

Frankly Id rather give Baldwin a chance to show improvement as an OF and see how many HRs he can hit. Hes got enough speed to be a decent OF .  He just needs to learn you can't be casual out there .Needs to think ahead and focus concentration. Baldwin LF Braden Montgomery RF asap.

Where is the offseason signing thread?????

Everything gets announced all over the place in SoxTalk because almost no one looks at Diamond Club anymore.

So shouldn't there be one thread where ALL the FA signing would be updated?

90-95% of them are ending up so read across all these various threads.

A couple of people in recent days were speculating about possibly SIGNING Pagan, yet it wasn't significant enough to warrant its own thread because the odds are the White Sox won't sign a "significant" free agent...meaning over $5 million per season for them.

So basically I'm supposed to check SoxTalk every hour and then check MLB Trade Rumors and then double check all the time stamps when it was the third item from the top of the board when I looked at it here this morning on mlbtr????????????????????

Tell me why none of the free agent signings by other teams are not being posted in Diamond Club.

I posted it in the thread titled something like "SoxMachine podcast on Free Agent Pitchers". You even responded to my post. 

I don't really care, I'm just trying to foster any off-season Sox talk. I would suggest that if you want a catch-all Free Agent signing thread, start one and tend to it. I certainly don't run anything here. I just created a couple of strings where I can post any PodCasts or blog articles on the Sox off-season plans.

If the VPN is turned off, the Chinese firewall blocks everything on Twitter.

If the VPN is turned on, the site turns into a slow crawl and constantly double posts.

I'm guessing at that time I couldn't even see the embedded post, so that's why I was responding as if he hadn't signed yet.

That is all  the information that I had to respond to because the VPN was turned off. Unless I am supposed to interpret your post that he a had ALREADY signed because of your use of WAS there.
