Benintendi has to play LF passably if you want to have any hope of getting back at least 1/3rd of his contract in a dump at some point (looking less and less likely as teams just wait for him to be waived/released). Why Sosa in RF? I'd put him in LF, and Baldwin in RF.

November 8, 2025Nov 8 Author The #WhiteSox were also linked to first baseman Rhys Hoskins by @MLBBruceLevine today. I’m curious to see if first base is an offseason priority. — James Fox (@JamesFox917) November 8, 2025

Talent costs money and the Sox won’t be spending much at all this offseason. However, Boob Seymour is right up their alley.

Talent Ratings About Talent Ratings Speed Power Contact Xtra Rbis Runs Hitting Durability Team Success 39 85 40 71 90 61 84 I think Meadiocre gets more run next season. He just turned 25 and Getz won’t want to admit that he acquired absolutely nothing of value for Houser so soon after the trade. Duncan Davitt and Ben Peoples also look like mediocre pitching prospects in their mid-20’s.

November 11, 2025Nov 11 Flexen, Carlos Carrasco...splurge on Jose Quintana OR Cody Ponce. LoL. "RHP Cody Ponce: Outside of the three NPB stars, no player coming from overseas is gaining steam quite like Ponce. Born in California, he played for the Pirates in 2020-21 and could now be poised for an MLB return as a much improved pitcher. Ponce spent three seasons in Japan where he had decent-not-great results before dominating the KBO last season with a 1.89 ERA and striking out 252 batters. Multiple scouts described Ponce’s stuff as “electric — when he’s right." theathletic.com Edited November 11, 2025Nov 11 by caulfield12
