Not much different between a 60mph batted ball and a 75mph one but they have quite different effects on your average. And that's setting aside the other things you might want to know about how the ball was hit, such as whether it was straight down, straight up, or somewhere in between.

It's just another indicator of the tool box.

Monday at 11:02 PM1 day This was always going to be a dicey signing. There is a reason that the Sox got him for basically 2/40. If he was a slam dunk, he would have been a $200 million player. We need to see if he can adjust to MLB pitching. It doesn't take long for them to find a weakness and exploit it. Now Mune has to adjust back.
