I really hope the Bears trade down. Get some more picks in the 2nd and 3rd round. And grab a bunch of guys and fill your holes.

No DL till the 3rd or possibly the 4th seems a little wild. I'd honestly rather double or even triple dip on DL with their first 4.

I just don't think this is the draft to address it. I think a ton of the players are flawed and my view is lets get players who I see having an impact and I think there are more options in other spots. I also should caveat - I think the Bears are likely to take a step back this upcoming year and are still a year away. Do this the right way - I like the Utah guy because I believe he has real upside and only reason he is lower in round 1 is because it will take an extra year (I also think the Bears aren't in a bad spot to be patient). 5th year option huge - a year from now Trapillo is a swing tackle and potential starting beast at guard (replacing Jackson).

Next year we have more dline freeing up and make the change than while giving time for Turner and Booker to hopefully show something this year. We have a lot of bodies on the line already (and cap) and I see a lot of guys who are okay but with flaws and hard to project.

Ehhh I hate the idea of being patient.

Giants drafted another EDGE. That means Brian Burns and Kayvon Thibodeaux are both on the bench and might be traded. I'd be happy with either.

I'm not saying to be patient - I'm saying get good football players and don't force what you want because you want it - follow the board and where the talent is. Regarding Burns - if they seriously are willing to trade him - than yeah that is interesting. I'd expect they would get an absolute haul for him.

Ty Simpson surprise to Rams at 13

I’m good with that - dude is a baller.

Absolutely dripping with swagger.

Also other NFCN fans aren't happy about this online, with the Lions and Packers fans mad at the Vikings.

He's an incredible fit for what Allen wants to do with his defensive scheme. We've also upgraded our 2nd level speed by a lot this off-season. They can go get dline help in the 2nd. I like the pick a lot. You go and get the BPA at an incredible value. This guy should have been gone in the middle of the 1st. Getting him at 25 is a steal.

Hard to hate on taking the best safety in the draft when your one true need was safety. I woulda waited because I think you can find good safeties later in the draft butttt, Dillon being there is hard to pass.

I'd consider trying to trade up for Zion if the cost isn't too high.

Loved the pick, felt like a ravens pick.

hate this draft.

Man we need a lot

The guy the Ravens drafted at OL just looks like a Ravens OL

Can't hate on the best center in the draft either.

I like Gracen Halton or the Texas A&M DT next.

Trade down to 69 for 144. Seems like pretty good value there.

Kmet getting traded or Ben Johnson is about to go full mad man.

A TE?!? In the third? I swear Poles is doing this out of spite. Draft a fucking DE

Ahem…

I think the Bears will try to trade Kmet but ultimately he will be a pre-June 1st cut. The Bears don’t think he is worth paying $21 million over the next two years with Loveland taking over the primary role.

I feel like he's about to go full mad man. Rams were using 13 personnel like 50% of the time down the stretch and i can see the Bears approach that.

Upon seeing the RAS score, Ben and Poles are 100% trolling.

A 4.7 forty time at 6’6” and 267 sounds pretty insane. But taking a TE with such a high pick is also a bit crazy considering the team’s needs.

What DE though? Looking back at what was taken after Roush and whats still available, 4-3 DEs seem like slim pickins. DDS makes sense and hopefully he's still there.

I knew trading back into the 3rd was a bad idea. Poles always does some wild s%*# in the 3rd and 4th rounds.

Their entire draft board is just a table sorted by RAS.

I love that I have the utmost confidence in Poles in the 1st round. Dude just hits.

3rd round Poles scares me.

I do not understand the lack of taking an edge rusher. They went with a safety in the first round which makes sense if he’s going to start and they went edge next round. They stood pat, the edges were gone, took the center which was ok. But then they traded out of the second with the second pick.

They should have taken an edge in the first and found their safety later. The tight end pick makes no sense to me unless Johnson and Poles want to cut Kmet or build depth when WRs could inevitably be hurt.

One other name id like before the pick is annouced... LT Overton
