August 4Aug 4 About what was expected - hopefully he takes it up a whole nother level this year. Last year was a huge step-up and he did it playing hurt, would love to see him set the standard and become the best RT in the game this year! Well deserved pay day for Wright!

From what I read this was like Marc Columbos injury and I don’t think that guy played for like 2-3 years after he got hurt with the bears

What's more likely is they knew they weren't going to keep Gervon long term, and with Van De Berg looking like he's potentially a player, they decided to move on.With that stated, record wise, they're going to take a step back. It'll be interesting to see what happens when they are in the dog days of Dec and snow is pouring down and they're not able to drop 35 offensively. I don't say this as a "Bear-Weather" guy, but the snow does mess up your timing. Your run game will be good, but what are you going to do with your defense who I would argue is weaker than last year which was pretty weak already. I hope a Maxx Crosby move is coming.
