If he was running on the pitch it’s still a stolen base. And it’s passed ball not pass ball. And it wasn’t Peters’ ball, it was Acuna’s. Learn the game.

Right now the problem with Getz as GM is the problem with Getz as head of player development: he can't SCOUT. He has absolutely zero eye for talent. At least Hahn preferred tools, even if a guy had ze

How some of you guys have watched baseball as long as you have and think that was Peters' ball is crazy. CF has the gaps. This is LL stuff. You have to back off as a corner guy if he misses it he miss

Yeah Paez needs to be given back. You won’t see many more generic, terrible pitchers.

But his control!!!

JR will be fuming at the lost $50k.

If Boston even wants him back.

Meanwhile home grown Pallette...Rule 5 good fortune was never meant to be sustainable plan year on year.

It’s just more bad usage of resources. Nothing new

Hays very good throw. Quero, poor defense. Paez, stinky do. 3 ER.

I don’t even see any real talent.

Did not think that ball was remotely close enough to be challenged, and especially on first pitch

Turns out rule 5 draft picks usually suck, go figure.

Bacon selling Getz’s strategy — the closer flip.

I like Paez, but Venable calling him in to finish off the 7th then bringing him back in the 8th is just incompetence. a 4 run lead isn't insurmountable but he threw in the towel.

Why do you like him?

Sadly, no control, straining to throw 92. Really looks like he should be in the minors.

If he cant do longer relief with a 4 run deficit, then he has no reason to be on a roster.

Quality of at bats after they scored those runs was terrible.

Will has no good options. I don't envy him this year. He has very little upside for his career and it's hanging on somehow squeezing 70 wins out of a 65 win roster.

Fedde pitched better than his line.

Acuna's hustle run last night remains the only ER allowed by the Marlins' pen in 5 games.

Tonight was the Sox first game without a HR.

I miss Mike Vasil.

This team has not shown a lot of life when down this year. Plus if the don't homer, they don't score much.

Don't really expect much of a pitcher who makes the leap from A+ to MLB. They should hide him so he can develop, not give him the most appearances of anyone on the team. Especially in winnable games.

Oh well. Team met expectations tonight. Last night was sweet, but let's be real, folks.

5 hits and 13 strikeouts against Junk and bullpen.

The White Sox starting pitching hasn't been very good so far .Lucas Giolito hasn't been signed by anybody. I don't know if he's hurt or he wants too much money. He would be an improvement over some of the starters on this team.

Agree, and an obvious PR move even if it only sells some seats in Charlotte when they start.

I know it's early but these losses are by large margins.

I am going to guess Giolito would rather be unemployed than to work for Jerry again.

He would be but Jerry is probably still holding a grudge over that extra $50K in salary arbitration. 🤣
