Going to guess losing game 7 of the World Series hurt a little more.

  • IMO a significant storyline of 2025 was Vargas showing that he was good enough with the glove to play 3B in MLB. Where exactly he'd be on the spectrum from below average to above average, not so clear

Stretch out Taylor you dumb monkeys.

From the last angle they showed as the decision was announced, looks like he could have been safe. But you never see it quite clearly enough.

Not enough to overturn, but worth challenging.

If you're going to start Taylor, you gotta let him go two innings! Isn't the point for Burke to not face the heart of the line-up. Well if Taylor mows them down 1,2,3, Burke is still facing the clean-up hitter as his first batter. And guess what, he crushed it and scored.

Now we got tie game on the 9th and no closer.

Vargas is the man

Stop assuming Venable has any clue what he’s doing

Newcomb wasn't fooling anybody

Fine play there, Vargas. C'mon Sox, don't blow it. Let's win this one.

Seems like the Sox can’t get a clean inning out of their bullpen let alone a shutdown game.

He’s basically Grifol with a better personality.

I’ve never been more sure he is going to give up a single.

It’s crazy how bad Getz is at getting lefty relievers

I like how schriff said “runner goes” like it is shocking with a full count and two outs.

OKamoto more like.

Okamoto doing his best murakami impression

Well on ball 4 you can still be thrown at 3B in that spot. Don't think Seranthony holds runners well though.

Sir Anthony comes through. Schriffen surprised the runner was going 3-2 with two outs. 😂
