Speaking of K.C. how many have they lost in a row there? I know they were winless last season but think they lost a few more the season before.

They started 4-16 last season and 4-22 the year before, so honestly 4-8 barely registers to me.

The pitching was fine enough, look moderately less hopeless with RISP and it shouldn't take them another two weeks to find win #5 like it did last year.

Teel and Pereira should be back by then if nothing else, and they'll be past the service time cutoff for Antonacci and company. too

Yep. Good acquisition and I wanted him last year as well but he’s not exactly known for his ability to stay healthy, just like with the Reds last season.

They have 4 starters out, right now. 3 of those guys, Baldwin, Teel and Hays were players they were going to rely on for some offense. I think once Teel eases back in, Pereira's back, Antonacci's up, and maybe they promote a starter or two, they'll look like a completely different team.

I'm not sure exactly what you're referring to, but their record is 2 games better than the last two years. Their roster is more solid than 24 or 25. They have actual prospects closer than the last two years.

Are you angry because you don't think they'll look like a different team with Teel, Antonacci, Pereira and maybe McDougal or Schultz in the rotation? Or are you just trying out the current vague-posting fad the kids are into, now?

Then I really don't understand your comment. I probably said they're in a better place before we got the news on Baldwin, and Hays and Pereira went down. They're starting two AAA OFs right now, and the mainstays are slumping.

If you're saying that Teel will be worse than Quero and McGuire, Antonacci will be a glorified Dru Baker, and McDougal/Schultz will get clobbered over 2 innings every start, that makes absolutely no sense. As usual.

They never had an outfield to begin with, let alone depth at the position.

I think Schultz would be a stud today, but this team set the MLB record for losses with Garret Crochet. Schultz and Antonacci aren't saving this crew and I like both players.

They'll be more interesting with Teel, Antonacci and Schultz but I think we're still talking about the worst team in the AL possibly. They're also an injury away from complete disaster too.

I'll say this, Burke's been improved BUT it's almost entirely tied to two things: throwing first pitch strike much more frequently, and getting batters to chase with more frequency. How sustainable is that? Well, I think both are but whether or not Burke maintains it is TBD. Fedde

I also won't hate on the offense too much nor give too much credit to the pitching the past series+ because it's really hard to hit when its really cold. Fedde and Kay are bad regardless of how they started.
