Not sure if I agree with stone that there was a play at second. That would have been close and a risky throw

Cannon - part of a disappointing pitching staff that is paving the way for Tanner McDougal and Hagen Smith.

Yeah I think if it is executed smoothly, you get him at second. But it's an unusual play to make and not sure that the juice would be worth the squeeze.

Definitely would have been close and risky.

Better than him throwing it into CF.

Hicks is garbage

these guys are running from second with not one care about Acuna’s arm

I don't think Bobby handles velocity all that well so I don't like starting him off with a sweeper

Finally score some runs and pitching just blows

The top of KC's line-up can be tough and Sox pitching is not up to the task. Can't hold a frikkin lead. So frustrating.

DFA Hicks and Benintendi...

Not a balk because I said so

That he is. He just got away with a balk as well.

Not sure I follow the reasoning of "I have spotted an uncalled balk so I will run into an out"

I don’t think the runner saw it or knew it. The dugout was yelling for it.

Hicks cant be gone soon enough

Did the runner see it?

Means there's not enough sample size. He's hit 95mph on a throw this season so the raw arm strength is adequate. Statcast rates him as an out above average at preventing runners from advancing in his small sample size thus far

The dugout was screaming it and thats why he seemingly ran

Yea he pointed at the pitcher and then took off. Hicks just stepped off and threw to 2nd

I like Hill's D and his speed. Hope he steals a base.

His 2025 numbers are essentially the same as Robert's career average. His arm is fine for CF.
