It takes a GM at least one year to assess the clubhouse chemistry. Wasn't an issue of talent.

Bad play by Vargas and Murakami.

Set up too quickly for catch instead of adjusting on the fly.

It wasn't clubhouse chemistry, it was their terrible pitching staff. Maybe they get in if they don't lose Vasil to the Rule 5 draft or if they sign Adrian Houser for no money. Stearns is the most overrated GM in MLB. Look how Milwaukee is doing without him.

I suspect Robert was traded to clear payroll for a couple signings they made soon thereafter. The fact they had to clear that payroll to sign anyone is what is upsetting.
