Are Reese jokes allowed on game threads when he is not in the lineup?

I heard he’s working his catcher hand all alone in the bullpen.

I will allow it.

Two guys hitting over .222

Talent is clearly awful, but hitting coach might also be terrible

My god Chase, that’s not a real swing

Send Mune down!!!

He was close all game. Good swing

At least Murakami can still hit bombs.

I always like to blame the bench coach....except when it was Baines of course.

Quero walk and Monty blast inc

Edited by DoUEvenShift

Quero can go get his stroke back in Charlotte once Teel is back.

Hot take: This game sucked, but it wasn't on Noah

He will be fine once he gets comfortable. There was a lot going on tonight

Anyone else think it’s a bit funny that CHSN’s custom triangular desk isn’t even flush at the edges? Has been bothering me from the start of the channel.

Is that another McGuire joke?

Existing issue with whiffing on high pitches has gotten worse. More important, last year he mitigated it by not chasing pitches up and out of the zone. This year he is chasing them way too often and getting no benefit (i.e., he's not a guy who sometimes tomahawks a bomb on a high ball)

Acuna can't do much of anything. He can't hit. He missed a ground ball in the 6th inning which was ruled a hit. He should have been charged with an error. I wonder much longer he will be on this team. Perhaps they can trade him back to the Mets for Robert Jr.

We all know that Reese has his stroke anywhere and everywhere.

Eisert is really making no progress...he's actually regressing. He can barely hit 90 on his 4-seam.

Cannon is a mess right now, but he can still throw mid-90s so there is something to work with. He's not the one to dump.

I want to know when he's gonna start batting from his stronger side of the plate. We need offense now. Why does he continue to work on his weak side? Getz needs to tell him it's time to show us that he's an upgrade on Luis Robert Jr.

Wait, what?!

Some positives in that game. The loss didn’t piss me off as much as usual. Noah’s nerves and a couple of relievers that will likely be gone soon did us in.

Murakami had 2 walks and hit the ball 100+ the other three times. That was great to see.

Must be nice to be so handy.

Noah even seems wound up in the postgame interview.

I'm a bit worried about his inability to hit pitches on the outer half, but I think he'll adjust. The eye is great, and the power is legit.
