  • Hasn't been worth harping on, but Luisangel's batted ball luck has been pisspoor this season. Not so much that he's lowkey hitting well or anything crazy like that. But his xwOBA is above the likes of

11 straight scoreless outings for Hudson. Griffin compensates for a lack of velo with a deep 7 pitch mix, and it’s been working so far this season. He has spent the past couple seasons in NPB so maybe

    this fucking team sucks

Murray and Acuna have 2 of the 3 highest EVs in this game so far, and two of only 5 BIP in this game with an xBA over .500. Both were outs.

Why did he start this inning?

Good throw nails him

Does this mean the people yearn for Bryan Hudson? D

Romo having a rough inning

Terrible fundamentals, get behind the ball and get off a strong throw

Seems increasingly likely this game will be decided by the jamshot + SB combo.

So tired of the negative contributions from the catchers. Can’t recall a worst group of performers.

He didn’t challenge strike 1 to start the at bat

Why wouldn’t you bring in Newcomb to make it harder to steal after the single?

nothing new under the sun with this organization

when was the last time they ever developed an all star catcher

Don't get pushing Burke in to a position now, where he could possibly take the loss in a game he was great in. But here we are.

Doesn’t know where the strike zone is lol

Good thing we brought the lefty in there

I'm not seeing a hit batsman here

Would have been interesting if he lost his balance there, he was gonna go

FWIW, Newcomb has not historically had very pronounced platoon splits. They are reversed this year but it's a small sample.

Good stuff.

The rest of the inning was handled well, just sucks that Burke was in that position. Ok boys, go win it in the 9th.

Let's Fucking Go!

Made some good pitches! Hit a walkoff homer and win the series

a game no one wants to win

I'll take a walk off anything....but a Mune shot to win it would be epic.....or Colson
