I watch the post-game a lot down here in NC and I am pretty sure he had about 6 tequila or cervezas. He was overly happy and slurring a bit. Normally he talks much faster and crisp. He is still entertaining and I love him.

It’s always rough to watch Garfien trying to translate what Ozzie is saying. Usually he is very good at it. Sometimes Garfien has to ask him again what he said. Tonight, Ozzie couldn’t even speak his own language effectively, so I wouldn’t be surprised if he had a few drinks.

Now just imagine if they give Kelenic a shot at DH and he starts putting up decent numbers like 2023. And it leads to the Sox eating Benintendi’s contract. Likely a pipe dream but anything is possible.

Beni simply needs to be put out to pasture. Old nag / glue factory situation. And he should be okay with it. He gets his $31.5 million over this season and next season regardless of what the Sox do with him. Play the youth. Hell, even Kelenic is a young man compared to him.

You are not allowed to refer to the bench for a challenge. Quero needs to be told to let the pitcher challenge instead of him. All pitchers need to be told before the games that Quero is catching. IMO.
