Wednesday at 04:56 PM1 day Sam, Mune, Vargas, Colson, Chase, Andrew, Kelenic, Peters, Romo.About as lopsided of a lineup as you'll ever see. At least we stacked all the good hitters up top today.Last night still is pissing me off. Started with a "sunday" lineup, then we left Fedde into die and then randomly burned the Mune rest day. It reminded me of a RV circus.Whatever, win today and take another series.
Wednesday at 05:04 PM1 day We all know who our best three starters are, and one of them is on the bump today. I expect a WIN today. Mune back starting where he belongs. Colson at short where he belongs, Vargas at third where he belongs, Acuna......

Wednesday at 05:19 PM1 day For all tracking at home.Sam Antonacci now LEADS the White Sox in xwOBA at .406! That ties him for 15th in baseball, for guys with 70 or more PA's, with Bryce Harper. The other day the White Sox batted him 9th and played Colson Montgomery (2nd best SS in baseball) at 3rd base.

We will have to see what they do when Teel comes back. They seem to like Mune at 2, Vargas at 3 to break up the lefties and usually Colson at 4 or 5. Depending on the pitcher, Meidroth or Antonacci should lead off. This lineup will be very difficult for RHP when Teel is back and also when Braden is up, as he has been much better hitting from the left side this year. I see savages everywhere.IMO, very few lineups have 7 credible hitters (Mune, Colson, Vargas, Antonacci, Teel, Braden, Meidroth).

Wednesday at 07:38 PM1 day 28. Chicago White SoxWin average: 63.2 (Last: 61.3, 28th)In the playoffs: 0.3% (Last: 0.4%)Champions: 0.0% (Last: 0.0%)One thing that must change: Luisangel Acuna's results at the plateThe White Sox's outlook has shifted considerably more in the real world than it has in my system and in the betting markets. But when systems miss, it's usually because of an emergent young team, as this one clearly is. The White Sox have a budding offensive identity centered around a three-true-outcomes approach, led by Munetaka Murakami and Colson Montgomery, and that identity will grow once Kyle Teel returns from injury. The improved offense has been undermined by a lack of outfield production and Acuna is in the middle of that -- and not just because he has logged the most time in center field. He just hasn't looked competitive at the plate, too often putting tepidly hit grounders into play early in the count as if he were merely trying to avoid strikeouts. Chicago's options keep getting better, so if Acuna doesn't offer more with the bat, he's headed for a future as a utility player. doolittle espn
