Are you a glass half full or half empty kinda person?

Sox are currently a game outta 1st place and a game outta last place.

How many Sox fans believed they were going to win down the stretch in 2012?

Or win in 2008 on the road after Quentin went out with the self inflicted hamate?

Win in 2000 after the pitching staff fell apart?

Win on the road in Houston and fly in the face of their unassailable playoff runs?

1983?

There's just one single isolated counter example. 2005.

Indiana football fans didn't really believe that 2024 wasn't a fluke until they beat up OSU and Bama.

For the Sox, 2020 was followed up by 2021/22. And then national embarrassments on a weekly basis from 2023-2025.

You can label fans Panicans all you want, but Sox faithful over 125 years of franchise history are always going to be realistic or pragmatic until there's a tangible reason to believe otherwise.

Of course, there is no divine intervention in trivial matters like sports but I hope we have more luck in close games.

Notre Dame fans would tell you otherwise...not sure of the Pope's position, though.

Noah is going to have up and down days, he's just learning the process at this level.

It would be nice to at least get over the .500 mark once this season but for now that's still a dream.

Reminds me of the 78 Sox......1 game under then they fell apart

The difference is this is early in the season.

Yesterday's lineup should've been today's.

Urena was vulnerable earlier in the game but he really found a groove. He's made a lot of good pitches and the changeup is a seriously great pitch.

I was listening in the radio on my way home from work and the Angels broadcast said he’s a reverse split guy who has been better against lefties and the Sox loaded the lineup with lefties and we’re getting mowed down.

"I'm surprised Ramierez isn't there. Naylor, too."

how is that the Mariners, Josh Naylor?

somehow Jose Ramirez and Bo Naylor make a lot more sense here, logically

unless I should assume Ramirez is really Julio Rodriguez instead.... ????????

the problem was my post wasn't copied into his response....so it was just stand alone, and looking at it hours after posting it

seattle was also playing simultaneously...
