May 15May 15 Caleb Bonemer (INF) – 15Braden Montgomery (OF) – 24Noah Schultz (LHP) – 27Hagen Smith (LHP) – 50Billy Carlson (SS) – 53Not too shabby. I thought Bonemer would be crack the top 10 in this ranking. Didn't know Schultz is still considered a "prospect" though.https://www.mlb.com/milb/prospects

May 15May 15 I think Bonemer is more of a 30ish prospect, Billy Carlson 70ish, I think Braden Montgomery should be in the teens though

Definitely a top 5 guy at this point. I couldn't care less about the K's.

Don’t know much about him but the draft prestige was there as he was taken at least in the 2nd round. So what do you think the Sox should do going forward? I know you hate the idea of anyone replacing Montgomery at SS considering how good he has been there defensively. But…Colson Montgomery — moves to 3B for Roch?Roch Cholowsky — potentially takes over SS?Caleb Bonemer — ???Billy Carlson — ???Using Carlson for trade bait like @fathom has said seems like a no brainer, but the guy still needs to produce to build his trade value. That's where he should play. None of those guys can hold a candle to him. Bonemer goes to the outfield. Got a + arm. Bonermer so young and just shown he can dominate in multiple ways. Reminds me of minor league Mike trout. Obviously not the defender trout was.

The guy has been rocking a 1.100 OPS. Who gives a s%*# if he's being more aggressive and his k rate is up? He's making a mockery of A+. Edited May 16May 16 by ron883

May 19May 19 Put it in the minor league thread, meant to put it here:Brandon E.Which prospect would you have moved the highest up since your offseason list?Keith LawSenior Writer, MLBThu@Brandon E. Caleb Bonemer comes to mind. AJ Ewing, although I may never get the chance to rank him again. I'm ready to run Ethan Salas right back up the board.

May 20May 20 Chowlowski might be better than Colson at SS but until he plays in the majors, who knows. If Roch did replace Colson, I would still have Vargas at 3B where his skill set fits. A bunch of infield prospects on the horizon, but I, for one, like what we have right now 3rd to 1st. This is a good infield on a very good team.
May 21May 21 I have a hard time belieiving Carlson is a better prospect than someone like Antonacci. I get the defensive skills are elite but if you can barely get the ball out of the infield what does it matter
