I dare say I thought it would be a major win if Derek Hill was as good as Michael A. Taylor (78 wRC+) last year. Dude's a league average hitter (103 wRC+).

Derek Hill is a major league ballplayer. Does a lot of things at least adequately. A couple of them really well. And Sox are using him in a way that leans on the things he does best. Seems like a real good dude too.

That PA is an example of what has made me really optimistic about Mune. He's not always the same hitter. He tries to adjust to the scouting report and the pitcher and he often does it successfully.
