Once again, glad this is everyone's first White Sox game on the year. They've never battled back this year to make it interesting.

With our best pitcher going tonight, I fear a sweep!

If I was Sox girl, I would have been so much nicer to such a legend.

Meidroth just struck out at a pitch that appeared to be above his head.

He hasn’t been too hot with any of his pitching trades, if we’re being honest

Not disagreeing, but what RH pitchers have we traded for? Iriarte has obviously been a disaster, but it’s too early to make any real call on Thorpe given the TJS. Gonzalez & Berroa looked promising before their injuries. Struggling to think who else we traded for that was right-handed.

The only contact made are foul balls.

Just goes to show the Sox have a long way to go.

Spent a lot on Hicks and Sandlin

Does that mean the Dodgers and Braves do too?

You look at the pitching staff and the org pitching depth chart and you just don't see much investment there. And not too surprisingly, the talent and production aren't jumping off the charts. You have a couple first round picks in the form of Schultz and Hagen. Book is out on them. Thorpe was a major trade return. After that, not much money or trade capital spent on any of these guys. And I think in the past couple years, Getz has made a philosophical shift against spending much on pitching while you're in a rebuild. I actually agree with that, quantity over quality is probably the way to go with pitching. When your team is finally good, that's when you can change your focus to getting guys who are good right now.

This will happen over a 162 game season.

Peters god bless em

Antonacci judt complained to the ump and Then the ump calls Cole on it.

Sam such a great agitator.

They have no payroll obligations after 2027 and they know exactly what the weaknesses of this roster are now. They need to use the vast majority of their resources on pitching this offseason.

Did Venable replace Boone as Yankees manager?

Umps haven't done the Sox any favors today.

Not able to watch as mlb blacked it out in nyc. Is Vargas hurt? Saw he had a pinch hitter.

Nah just pulling the core guys to keep them from getting hurt in a blowout, I think

Lol we really thought this team had a chance at competing? This team sucks ass. This is who they really are.

No idea. I just Google image searched “Troll Knight”. 🤣

I will try to treat the kneejerk reactions (even the positive ones) as sarcasm.

Even the national media treats this team as the biggest surprise in MLB.
