With goldy fielding it awkwardly and with their third baseman moving in the direction of first, it would have been a race between Chase and their shortstop… if their shortstop was even heads up enough to cover.

Hopefully it is just out of precaution

Well there is no way for Chase to know how he was going to throw the ball. Chase is also not that fast

Good job, you did it! Rodon against righties are hitting under .150 against him so we stacked a bunch of righties

Didnt you do that an hour ago?

How the hell do they just keep dumping it into RF?

Another flare

Yankees opposite field hitting us to death.

Yeah the risk-reward on that play is not very good. He'd have had to play it real aggressively before the throw and risk getting caught up if they backpicked.

Don’t understand Venables logic. The Yankees stacked their lineup with righties, so the first reliever out of the pen is a lefty???

even that ball from Jazz wasn't hit very hard. Losing Newcomb hurts a lot both in the short and long term.

I'm assuming the pull is mostly precautionary. I might have done it anyway just to keep him available for one of the next two games after the Yanks added on.

Uhhh, now it may be…

Welp, it was a ball game for a little while.

Bloop blop bloop bloop blast

Still appears they know what's coming either due to scouting, tipping, or whatever else. They have had a lot of success on pitcher's pitches.

I turned it back on of course

DAMNIT RON!

314 feet down the right field line is just stupid.

I think that was a vet going up looking to take something away.

Otherwise, I do think anytime the Yankme scum are on base they are at least relaying location to the hitters.

Yea, I think you could give one a ride that far.

You see a 9 to 3 score and it would give you a very wrong idea about how this game has gone. Hope the offense continues to put some traffic on the bases

Turn it back off and B Montgomery will homer next AB, thanks.

I was literally thinking the same thing 😂

Tha Yankees feast on mediocre pitching…and the AL Central.

Cleveland is faring about as well against the Brewers… and they are going to miss Mis.

I thought that MLB had a rule on new stadiums that the distance down the lines had to be at least 325 feet.
