And that's another road trip series White Sox winner

Continuing to be road warriors!

Huge fucking win after the s%*# show that was last night.

Bullpen is really coming together and Kay has proven be a solid back-end SP even if it’s not always pretty.

Bullpen looking nasty. Go get me a bonafide starting pitcher and a rental catcher and I'm good.

Playing better on the road is great to see

Masterclass by Will tonight and the pen. Hicks to Taylor was perfect and offense did enough to have a comfie 9th for whatever lefty he wanted. Kudos to Kay for just doing enough. Defense needs to get cleaned up. Vargas and Mune had a poor series overall, but off day and coming home. High vibes.

Your first place Chicago White Sox win back to back road series! Once again, they never stay down for long.

7-2 since Mune returned without him really getting going yet. 3 wins and 1 split in their last 4 road series.

Aside from yesterday, the pitching has been fantastic lately. 3 or fewer runs allowed in 8 of their last 10 games.

If they want to keep up this pattern of win by a lot struggle to score win by a little for the rest of the season, I think we'll be happy with the end result.

Cleveland loss went final earlier, so back to a game up. Add at least two more days to the count:

All this talk about the Tigers winning this division is bullshit....stay on a roll boys and get home field advantage throughout the AL playoffs....... who's with me???

Solid win, solid road trip. Pitchers only walked two this evening and struck out 12.

Meidroth with a big game.

Tasty matchup with the Astros this weekend. The Rate should be rocking.

Jerry Jeff Walker song is for you, dude. He wrote Bojangles. Cool stuff.

8-5 in their four road series. Let’s come home and f*** up the Astros with Martin and Burke.

After tomorrow Cleveland will have played three more games than the Sox. It seems like they’ve had those games in hand for months. At some point we’ll have to catch up. As is two games up in the loss column at least heading into the weekend. Go Sox. This is fun!

Oh, and that was a professional road win! Some clutch hits. Some clutch pitching! Good stuff!

playing 1 game under from now until 162 gets us 84-78. At this point, I think you have to at least add a bit. Bullpen arm if nothing else. 86 wins probably gets a WC spot in the AL and 88 wins probably takes the central.

I think not getting the AS break is hitting them both a bit. Day off at home will do them some good.

The most encouraging thing about the recent play in the road is you can still see them lose focus a bit from time to time, but they’re snapping back quickly. Flying, hotels, shitty visitor clubhouses, not sleeping in your own bed….road trips are mentally draining. Losing focus on the road is inevitable for any team in any sport…it’s getting into the habit of refocusing that shows maturity.

The Sox are approaching the point of overpaying for the win curve.

I see where Ramirez was in the lineup for them tonight so he's back with Cleveland.

Aside from two plays in that one inning, it was solid today, no?

93 is my high water mark for this team. I know it isn’t likely but it isn’t as big of a stretch as some may think.

Since April 18th they have the third best record in baseball at almost a .600 clip.

To get to 90 wins they would need to maintain that pace and I think they have more in them.

Made an error too that was responsible for between 2 and 4 runs which may have been the difference in the game. So welcome back JRam!
