I like our chances to take 2 of 3 this weekend with the pitching matchups and playing at home. Lets get this division lead to 2.5 games heading into the Yankee series.

Houston has a decent offense (104 wrC+) but outside Alvarez not too much slug. They have a poor defense and an awful (4.80 FIP) staff. On paper we should take 2/3 given we're at home with favorable SP

Arrighetti had a very rough June (9 ERA over 5 starts) but has limited the damage to 1 ER in two of his last 3 starts. When he gets in trouble, itโ€™s usually due to a mix of walks (16 over his last 5 s

Meidroth bailed out

check out my arrighetti impression:

eyyyy whoaaaa i'm walkin' guys here!!!

Just get any vet catcher that is a positive WAR player. I can't do this Romo Qeruo thing anymore.

Can this Romo experiment end

Romo with impossibly soft contact. A change needs to happen

Romo is terrible. It's past old. He doesn't even give you a competitive at bat.

Bingo

Martin is throwing his mix well tonight.

It's fun being back to the top of the order to start the 2nd inning

Wow, Arrighetti out after 1.

What happened to the Astros pitcher? Just stepped away for a couple of minutes.

Dang, I hate to see guys get hurt.

Tough spot for the Astros but beneficial for the Sox to be into the bullpen already

Maybe a cardiac thing based on Astros broadcast, yikes.

they were saying he didn't "look right" in warmups and ump and catcher and trainers had to intervene.

yea hope he's OK, never want to see that.

Arrivederci Romo. Nice to hear Stoney again. Plesac grates on me. Nice guy though.

Pretty sweet to be into the Astroโ€™s bullpen two innings into game 1 of the series.

Huh, the video shows nothing really. He like threw a pitch, looked at ump, gestured to dugout and he came out. Maybe not cardiac, don't want to speculate like that, I take it back.
