Nothing special about it, but it did have great sight lines.There used to be a lot of fights almost every game. A lot of people would tailgate for 2-3 hours before the first pitch was thrown. I'm sure that had something to do with it.

12 minutes ago12 min I also saw Satchel Paige pitch for the St. Louis Browns in 1949, I believe. My Dad wanted to see him pitch, so I got to tag along. Never forgot it, obviously. He threw a few eephus pitches, and the crowd roared. They loved him.
