I really don’t understand the fascination with Pereira. The guy had like one little run with the Sox and got injured immediately. Every time I watch him hit he doesn’t seem to have a plan outside of “swing from your heels”

He's kind of like this year's Timo Perez

Antonacci is the heart and soul of this team and needs to be in the lineup regardless of who is pitching. The only way he will get better against lefties is to play against lefties.

He also has below average bat speed, which for a big guy like him is not ideal.
