I think they want a platoon partner for him. I figured it would be Pereira, but maybe they don’t like him in cf.

Well… Hill has only had 7 hits for the entire month of July in about 30+ at bats. So he isn’t lighting the world on fire either.

I really liked Doyle a few years ago, and he was hurt for a long time this year. He makes a fine 5th outfielder, but I assume this means Grichuk and Hays are gone

I don't really see how you'd trade for him for your MLB team. He has minor league options so if the Sox just want to see if they can get him going in Charlotte, then sure.

He got Brazobon right, would not like this at all

Just being real here, it's quite possible and perhaps likely that Luisangel will outperform Doyle at every facet of baseball going forward.

I wouldn’t consider Doyle as a return something that is “selling high” on Pereira.

I prefer Pereira - think he's going to be a solid big leaguer...is this also creating room for Hays?
