I’m not even trying to argue one way or another. But I do think an appeal is a strange thing pull out of your ass. My feeling is that there’s some truth in that. What do you think the purpose was of Venable coming out of the dugout? He doesn’t make mound visits unless he’s changing pitchers. That’s what makes the whole thing so weird.
