The Tigers are going to be tough. We have 7 left against them, so we kind of control our own destiny.86-87 wins feels about right for this team. Will easily get them a first round bye. Tigers will sneak in the third wild card spot with 82 wins lol.

Bullpen meltdowns have been a big problem for the tigers.

14 hours ago14 hr Detroit makes me a tad nervous. They swept us last series in Detroit. We’ll see how our Sox fare against them on their turf again this coming weekend.

With a stronger relief corps now, hopefully that is the difference.
13 hours ago13 hr Much needed day off tomorrow after a ton of BP time because of the short innings from Schultz and the rain today.I'll take 2 of 3 from Cleveland under trying circumstances. They stepped up.

3 hours ago3 hr I was camping this weekend but on Friday night got the score and got a little nervous we’d be like the 03 royals, who started hot out of nowhere and then faded in August to 3rd place to the Sox and twins. The sad part (for them) was how it turned out to be a flash in the pan season for the surprise players like angel berroa. But then the we won the next two games like we always do. I kinda hate the “we can play like s%*# and the other team has to play well!” Stuff. 25-19 isn’t like hard for a team to do.Team just has to keep finding pitching and hit like they can. They fight like hell, and no “crushing” or “humiliating” defeat ever sets them. Great, great team to watch
2 hours ago2 hr Now something negative - Chsn freezes during commercial breaks like twice a game and I have to exit and restart. Drives me nuts
2 hours ago2 hr The Tigers are the team to worry bout. A lot of people wrote them off after losing Skubal and Mize but I think they are playing a lot looser without all the daily drama of will Skubal be dealt or no. Both of their rookies McGonigle and Clark have really energized them and their young starting pitchers Melton and Jobe along with Valdez have been really stepping up. Melton looks like a real problem. He is 7-1 with a 1.46 ERA and a 0.90 WHIP. However their last 16 games have been against KC, Baltimore, the A's, Seattle and SF. They have 7 games left against the Sox and Clev and 6 with the Twins. I think it's going to take 86 wins to claim the Division.
1 hour ago1 hr Very nice bounce back series win.I have been saying this and will continue to say this...........Guardians and Twins do not worry me as much as Detroit. They trade away Skubal and Mize but yet find random guys holding teams to 3 runs or less. They also have a pedigree they have created the last 3 years of knowing how to win.
1 hour ago1 hr Tigers lead the AL in run differential.Tigers are 8th in MLB in pitching and ahead of Sox in hitting and fielding. Tigers are 8th in payroll. On paper, tigers take the AL Central.Play on grass, not paper, but tigers have to be team to beat.We face jobe, melton and valdez next week on end in Detroit. Not easy.
