8/26 White Sox vs Rangers: Burke vs Gore 6:40 PM

Featured Replies

Angels don't have their best bullpen guys after last night, so protecting this 1 run lead in the 9th is gonna be rough.

Oh god - I hope they can bounce back from that 40 minute flight and at least salvage the last game of the series

We need Burke to come back to form tonight and let's win the series.

Correct. Although we already have a massive advantage against them in tiebreaker #2, which is division record. Rangers are 20-26 vs AL West Sox are 23-13 vs AL Central Highly likely we win a tiebreake

Cleveland offense in a nutshell: a bunt, a walk, and a blooper

Mets world thinks they will pay the buy out and then negotiate a new deal

Well, they can have someone else pay the buyout and one month's worth of salary for free and still get him back next year.

Ok. 3-2. Houdini act by the angels pitcher

It's haramball

Chicks dig infield hits and bloopers.

CLE is loaded with bullpen guys with ERAs in the low 3s or lower

Watson, the guy who blew the lead yesterday for the Angels, will pitch the 9th.

Are they really going to pick up his $20 million option?

But that trick never works...

They could, I just haven't seen any indication that they would.

There's a lot of reasons for them to want to head into the offseason with better vibes and a sense of momentum, dumping a red hot LRJ after not moving him at the deadline doesn't accomplish anything but saving a few million that's basically a rounding error on their payroll.

If they are in on Luis going forward, figuring out the right usage mix with him and their young OFs Benge and Ewing is probably worth more than dumping the money. And after all the reported chemistry issues with the vets there, letting him gel with Soto and co. is probably worthwhile too.

2 on for Kwan. Looks like another blown save.

And here they come. This is so frustrating lol

Angels also have one of the worst lineups I have ever seen so I don't know how they could score again

After blowing a 5-0 lead yesterday...will remain skeptical of the Angels.

Just so many things going CLE's way...especially Kwan and Ramirez.

Well...that was predictable enough.

Unless Angels rally in 9th.

Probably see Smith again.

lmao...yeah this is over.

f*** off Angels. Why don't you have a damn lefty to bring in!?!?

f*** the angels

Why would he keep throwing sweepers in the zone?

We all knew this was coming

The Guardians get the easiest schedule of all time to heat them up, so frustrating

Watson somehow blowing a lead in just 8 pitches is impressive. He even got the first batter out lol.

Smith has pitched the last two and been a bit shaky of late due to workload. Doubt he's available.

But they played a tough one in first half. It all evens out.

White Sox and Twins also have 4th/5th easiest from here on out.

CLE is full of lefties, not throwing one in the 9th was criminal
