Oh god - I hope they can bounce back from that 40 minute flight and at least salvage the last game of the series

We need Burke to come back to form tonight and let's win the series.

Correct. Although we already have a massive advantage against them in tiebreaker #2, which is division record. Rangers are 20-26 vs AL West Sox are 23-13 vs AL Central Highly likely we win a tiebreake

Genao is a pretty good hitter. Guardians had 1st and 3rd two outs but luckily Hedges sucks.

Not arguing for it, but the guys in the clubhouse love him.

Miguel Vargas on Luis Robert Jr.: "He’s my brother. Besides baseball, he’s my brother personally. I think what he means to me and the impact he’s had on my life has been amazing."

He was also chatting it up with Chase and Colson pregame last week. And he did seem to quite noticeably get along well with Colson after he came up last year, the second half good vibes of 2025 absolutely included Luis at the time.

But I don't think there's been any indication that the Mets intend to waive him, so I'm not sure why this has become such a topic of conversation. Last I saw from Stearns was that they think he can still help them next season (and Robert reportedly wants to play with Soto after injuries kept them from doing so most of this season).

Colson and him were always laughing together in the dugout.

I was just going to ask this. I know people don't like him, I don't know that I have actually seen anyone say outloud that Robert was a bad teammate or a clubhouse problem. He took a lot of flak for always being hurt and all, but who actually said he wasn't a good teammate? Does that exist?

No, the only thing that came out negative was that he didn't know a coach's name. That says as much about the Hahn era as anything about Robert imo.

Guards are throwing this from a pitching standpoint.

Burke talked about how he hoped on a face time with him and Vargas before they came to town.

I didn't notice a lot of waiver activity this year where it comes to guaranteed contracts. Maybe teams have prepared themselves, accordingly, where they're not wishing and hoping somebody claims a player to relieve them of a little payroll.

Cantillo has 7 walks.

With any luck, Kwan shouldn't get another AB today. 6 more outs for the Halo's.... get it done.

Zero faith the Angels finish the job after the absolute filth that was yesterday.

We need to win today.

Cleveland throwing some leather out there on defense. Three great plays by them today.

Runner on for JRam...oh boy.

Are they really going to pick up his $20 million option?

Murphy trying to walk everybody.

Angels can f right off. I hate watching them fail over and over

They get a DP to end the inning, up 3-2 . CLE will have the bottom of the lineup in the 9th

Mets world thinks they will pay the buy out and then negotiate a new deal

And here comes Cleveland. This must be what it was like watching the Sox play teams in tight playoff races.
