Gavin Williams is a pitcher that whenever I watch, you wonder how anyone could ever hit him.

9-1 and Lugo is out after JRam's first HR since June 6th. I expected CLE to win this one with Messick going. appreciate KC for winning the series at least. Jays will have a lot of incentive to do the

  • For tiebreaker watch... The big ones: MIN: Sox lead 5-3 with 5 to play (2 road, 3 home) CLE: Sox lead 6-4 with 3 to play (all @ CLE) DET: Sox lead 6-3 with 4 to play (all at home) For seeding: HOU:

  • Division is well out of reach but the wild card isn't. It's possible for them to sneak into the third wild card spot but it would require every other team competing with them to collapse.

Williams on for the Guardians tonight

low pitch count for him too

2027 draft maybe

Unless they sign Skubal lol

Blue jays will be interesting. You have to think they are amped for this given it's a chance to gain ground in the wild card.

George Springer just swinging at pitches that were never strikes

"oh no" on the wild pitch.

Chefs kiss

1-0 to the good

wild pitch

1-0, TOR top 5

and they hit a 2 run home run. 2-1 CLE

Williams is getting strikeouts on pitches two feet off the plate

It was probably a long shot for them either way, but the Tigers look very done.

Orioles tied it up in top of 7th but Rockies take back lead in bottom of 7th.

Orioles have tie breaker against our Sox so id like to see some more Baltimore losses

Orioles lose, so our wild card magic number goes down to 20.

Any losses to the Rockies...not so good.

They should have lost last night too. Cowser saved them.

When Ishbia pays for top pitching talent on the open market.

Tigers were 60-61 and a series win away from making a real run at the division ahead of the Sox visit to Detroit

They have gone 3-14 since and are now just 1.5 games out of last place

Terrible break for the Rockies. They should have tied the game at 5, but the ball bounced over for a ground rule double with the runner at 1st. He would have easily scored if it didn't bounce out.

Doesn't matter, Rockies win on a single. Robert sailed the throw home from left lol.

Despite getting every break imaginable, Orioles lose!

Has nothing to do with paying for premium pitching on the open market. Both of those guys were drafted and developed by the Indians.

I dunno man, feels like Burke has been that all season and this thread is still wondering when we get our guy.

Burke and Martin took turns being the ace. Felt like as soon as Martin went to s%*# (series against the Yankees), Burke became damn near unhittable.

Imagine being one robbed home run away from being swept by the Rockies.
