I thought he was in trouble when he got to 3-0 on Yordan. But he absolutely aced him on the full count pitch.

We do have the season series tiebreaker on them. They'd need to go 13-6 to overtake us at 85 wins (if we finish the season .500). Their schedule is extremely easy.

God forbid we take advantage of Cleveland losing.

Kay was pitching pretty well for a while, but his last 3 starts have been bad..

It's been that way all season except the 1st 4 weeks or so was worse.

Just as the pitching starts to get bad , half of it starts getting better and vice versa. All of our pitching makes no money except Castillo as do all our position players except Benintendi. They've overachieved while their division is just as unpredictable.

Won't be getting any assistance from Luis against the Guards next series after all

Robert could very well be out of baseball next year, he might get a minor league deal with someone or a spring training invite (if there is a spring training).

Nobody is gonna sign him with all of this evidence that he's just not capable of playing pro baseball

One thing is for sure...trotting Cade Smith out there in the top of a ninth/tied score is a massive advantage in the current version of the AL Central.

Cade Smith absolutely dominated the top of the 9th. He'll probably go out there in the 10th if it gets there too since he only threw like 10 pitches.
