Yea I was pissed yesterday but all we need here is a split. then we can make hay at home rest of way overall.

Nice bounce back outing for Burke with 5.2 scoreless, 1 hit innings. Velo was still down a little but he worked through it. Colson also continues to look much improved at the plate.

Martin and Mune following suit would be really helpful for a strong, momentum-building September.

Hopefully the boys grab another win or two here despite the ump crew's best efforts and Cease throws a CGSO tomorrow.

Wouldn’t a split give the Astros the tie-breaker? They won the series in Chicago IIRC.

Walks are important and we need to limit them as pitching going forward.

We match up well with the Astros. They allow a ton of walks.

Most in the league this season. Our Sox are now more middle of the pack after being top 2 in walks allowed over the previous few years.
