Either the Sox just caught the hottest pitchers on their staff, or they're just not good right now.Not sure why it’s an either/or. The Sox offense is absolute trash right now. Also, the Pirates have a couple young pitchers with great stuff who can make a lot of offenses look silly if they’re on.Combine the two and that’s how you threaten to get no-hit twice in a series.
8 hours ago8 hr Talk about a strange lineup. Jerry get an offer by some DraftKings type corporate head to cover their pending massive losses? I’m fucking confused.
8 hours ago8 hr Haven't seen many lefty starters lately, coming off a little bit of a travel, and team had 3 stinkers in a row offensively. Might as well empty the bench against Liberatore. Can plug in the lefties later against relief pitchers. Edited 8 hours ago8 hr by Jake

Throw the names into a bingo ball and see what falls out as far as I am concerned.Leo Durocher drew the names out of a hat back in the day. Anything is better than what has been going on lately.

And we’ll have Antonacci, Benintendi, Mune, Peters, and Teel as options off the bench against their right handed relievers. So basically 3 of your Top 5 ops guys are out....well, technically Grichuk is not a qualified hitter but nothing against him being there.
8 hours ago8 hr Teel should have been playing yesterday, as he’s only likely to play once this series

8 hours ago8 hr Watching Mason Adams strikeout the side vs Tigers, it’s astonishing that the Sox didn’t give him a try, at least in the bullpen.

Should have just given him the rotation shot. Adams’ ERA is now down to 3.38. Six years of Adams making nothing gone for a CF that can’t hit. And we get to watch an expensive Castillo in the rotation for the rest of this season and next season instead. Absolutely brutal two trades. Edited 6 hours ago6 hr by WhiteSox2023
