Williams is pitching really well. Gotta weather the storm and be ready to rock when he makes a mistake.

IF we just didn't swing half the guys would walk

Don’t worry Gavin, neither of those runners will score

  • We need to take 2 games. The rubber meets the road now. No excuses. We did this to ourselves and we'll have to grit our teeth and climb out of this mess somehow. They need to leave CLE up 1.5 games.

Funny how Jays traded away a pitcher to a contender and scouted so well, they got Bateman back and he’s been one of the best players in baseball since the deadline. Up 1-0 and threatening for more

Easy to get away with those when you throw 99

and his sinker is 97, pair that up with his curve/sweeper, I'll be honest idk how half these guys were 2 for 4/2 for 5 off this guy

Teel tried that strategy already

Nat Lowe has really put on the weight since his rookie year with the Rays.

Melton sucks now huh?

Burke starting to lock in it seems at least.

That's gotta be painful for the Cubs. Bateman is absolutely crushing it.

Not in his next start :)

I think they’re ok with CF

We have to get him some runs.

Burke has looked absolutely fantastic. It sure would be something if our starting crew could turn it on and carry us these final two weeks - leading into October. Even with our bats struggling, if these guys can throw to their prime ability, we could still have something special.

LFGWS!!!

I don't think we're capable of scoring more than 3 runs off a starter right now.

Really need the bats to support Burke especially if he’s pitching well

I am tired of Rochhio

Let’s fucking go!

It's crazy how many times Sox pitchers have had breaking pitches hit almost off the ground lately.

Clearly off the bag

Team looks good today minus the, you know, ability to get a run in. Someone has to get a big hit at some point.

Hey another break!

Time to score some fucking runs.

Every pitcher we face looks like Nolan Ryan or Steve Carlton.

The only one we've looked good against recently is Liberatore and we let him off the hook.

The law of averages have to come into play.

The past doesn't always predict future, but didn't Williams's previous outings against the Sox start out pretty much just like this before the Sox finally started squaring him up?
