18 hours ago18 hr 105 off the bat but 49 degrees launch angle. They called him out. I think there's a good chance that goes out cause it went 325 feet despite hitting the railing. Edited 18 hours ago18 hr by chw42
18 hours ago18 hr Wild. Pham no longer has the unluckiest non-HR today I guess?Though with that height it might have drifted foul anyway

It needs to be like the way it is in Tampa. If it hits a certain part of the roof it is a homer. So many ways people can get robbed by those rules.
18 hours ago18 hr Three home teams won just like the wildcard round. The road team…your Chicago White Sox.
18 hours ago18 hr Padres got robbed unless you can prove it was somehow curving leftward...with that launch angle, it was going way way out.Came almost straight down at a 10-15 degree angle.105.3 ev and 49 degree launch angle Edited 18 hours ago18 hr by caulfield12
18 hours ago18 hr Woof... why are they even playing with the roof closed? This is going to stir up some serious s%*#.

17 hours ago17 hr Based on Statcast's batting data (speed and launch angle predictions) and the general consensus among fans, if it were in 28 or 29 other stadiums without such low roof interference, the ball would definitely fly directly out and over the home run wall. It could even be a "moonshot" that flew out of the entire field.Padres fans (including fans of other teams) have complained on social media about this bizarre ending of being "beaten by the stadium hardware."of course it provides a considerable advantage to the team with the fewest homers in mlb lol Edited 17 hours ago17 hr by caulfield12

If this were a regular season game, they probably have the roof open - the temperature was mild and it looks like a chance of light showers in the area. Crazy that this hasn't happened before....but I bet 70% of Brewers games are played with the roof open.

Tonight was colder than that. It would have been closed.

17 hours ago17 hr This Murakami home run was hit out, at 49 degrees and 103.6 MPH, which disputes this postRegardless, there were only two HR - at any exit velocity - that were hit at 49° or greater this season. Reddit as a whole is currently freaking out about this and is largely wrong in doing so.

50 minutes ago50 min Brewers playing some uncharacteristic defense there.Pivotal game if SD wants to come back at home.
46 minutes ago46 min I know this is best to death but the Brewers don’t have enough pop to win consistently in the post-season. It’s hard to manufacture runs against one pitcher after another throwing at max effort. I want them to win but I think the Padres win this series. Happy to be wrong.
