1 hour ago1 hr 105 off the bat but 49 degrees launch angle. They called him out. I think there's a good chance that goes out cause it went 325 feet despite hitting the railing. Edited 1 hour ago1 hr by chw42

It needs to be like the way it is in Tampa. If it hits a certain part of the roof it is a homer. So many ways people can get robbed by those rules.
56 minutes ago56 min Three home teams won just like the wildcard round. The road team…your Chicago White Sox.
56 minutes ago56 min Padres got robbed unless you can prove it was somehow curving leftward...with that launch angle, it was going way way out.Came almost straight down at a 10-15 degree angle.105.3 ev and 49 degree launch angle Edited 53 minutes ago53 min by caulfield12
53 minutes ago53 min Woof... why are they even playing with the roof closed? This is going to stir up some serious s%*#.

36 minutes ago36 min Based on Statcast's batting data (speed and launch angle predictions) and the general consensus among fans, if it were in 28 or 29 other stadiums without such low roof interference, the ball would definitely fly directly out and over the home run wall. It could even be a "moonshot" that flew out of the entire field.Padres fans (including fans of other teams) have complained on social media about this bizarre ending of being "beaten by the stadium hardware."of course it provides a considerable advantage to the team with the fewest homers in mlb lol Edited 35 minutes ago35 min by caulfield12

If this were a regular season game, they probably have the roof open - the temperature was mild and it looks like a chance of light showers in the area. Crazy that this hasn't happened before....but I bet 70% of Brewers games are played with the roof open.

Tonight was colder than that. It would have been closed.

4 minutes ago4 min This Murakami home run was hit out, at 49 degrees and 103.6 MPH, which disputes this postRegardless, there were only two HR - at any exit velocity - that were hit at 49° or greater this season. Reddit as a whole is currently freaking out about this and is largely wrong in doing so.
