At the very least, he could have done better homework. Hell sometimes he doesn’t know the handedness of his acquisitions. At most, he could have chased harder after after guys like Peralta.

It could be one of those things where the shoulder might have been ok when he was traded, but them having him mess with his mechanics and release point might have screwed things up more.

His first few starts with the team weren't terrible. He didn't start for almost 2 weeks after his start in Minnesota. I wonder if that was to try and give him some time to recover.
