I'll bet we're still paying at least $5 million of Koch's salary, so it's not exactly like we freed up a bunch of money. Not saying I'm not relieved by the news, mind you. o i'm alittle dissapointed we didnt get money. is wunsch hurt or bitter that he hasn't been called up yet. It's ashame i think he would've stuck when he comes up. Thi gives Shingo the conclusion that he is now the closer.

June 18, 200421 yr Just think, all the comments about Botch having the opportunity to build his confidence (in order to close again in the future) was likely pure bulls***. While we're all aware management is unlikely to bash their own product, I don't believe any member on Soxtalk thought Koch could be shipped. Everyone in the Sox organizaton has to feel good about this move, regardless of any friendships forged with the human time bomb.
