I'd personally like to listen to AM 1000. I love listening to Mariotti and the "Whiner Line." Dan Patrick's show is awesome, yet, I turn off Jim Rome and switch back on to Mcneil, Jurko, and Harry. ("The Tiny one.")

 

I don't listen to the Score because I hate North. The way they did the Griffey deal thing and other things as well turned me off from listening to them.

 

Thoughts?

Normally, I listen to the Score, especially for JHood, and a few others. In the Morning, ESPN is better, so I'll listen to them then. Overall the Score is very good because you get two sided arguments for the Cubs and Sox.

When I moved out of the Chicago area in '98 the score was still but I have heard mostly negative things since. I currently listen to KFAN 1130 here in the Twin Cities and they DO NOT like the Sox. I can't wait for this weeks games!!

I prefer 1000.

I think Mac Jukro and Harry are the best on right now. J Hood is pretty damn good to though.

830-10: Murph and Fred 670

10-2: Boers and Bernstein 670

2-3: Dan Patrick 1000

3-4 or 5: Mac, Jurko, Harry 1000

 

Sometimes at night i'll listen to Sox postgame or some JHood

 

I don't think i 'prefer' either station. I base what i listen to off of the show i like, not the station.

 

Note that at school, though, i barely listen to any radio

Personally I can't stand most talk radio. It is all self-serving bulls***, and half the stuff that is said, is said for the simple reason of trying to get a reaction. I get much better thought and analysis here.

He says he doesn't have faith in Kenny Williams making moves for pitching, and stats the Todd Ritchie trade, but ignores people like Takatsu, Marte, Schoeney, and Loaiza.

 

Then he says we gave up three 'top' prospects for 'a 4-7' pitcher, while ignoring ERA and WHIP. He's such a f***ing moron. And then he calls Morse a top prospect. Top prospect my ass. He knows absolutely nothing about the Sox minor leagues, and he says our minor leagues are now bare without Reed.

 

I emailed him and that's the only reason I'm still listening - what a f***ing boob.

I don't like Jackass Jay or Jim Rome's Retard nation, but 1000 has a lot better choices, not to mention ( for now ) White Sox Baseball!

I despise nationally syndicated sports radio and I only listen to the local sports talk stations, no matter what city I am in.

Why listen to the Score when ESPN Radio 1000 is our flag station? I don't understand how the Cubs factor into ESPN though when they have their own special show and we got nada...
