November 3, 200421 yr That would be a tremendous deal for the Sox. However, with PK being a FA after this year, and Hudson also, I'd assume we'd have to give up some minor league talent also. However, Hudson is an extreme sinkerballer, which would be great for the Cell.

My buddy who goes to school in Cali just called me up to tell me because he knew how excited I would be. It was on the radio there.

November 4, 200421 yr The deal makes sense for us, but no sense whatsoever for Oakland, unless they do intend on trading Konerko out just like that. Not sure if Beane would like Julio, but Oakland's bullpen needs to be upgraded, and they could potentially use someone like Hairston for the top of the order. I'd like Konerko plus others for Hudson...that'd be great. But I'm not sure how much else we'd have to give up. Probably a ton.
